What is Mobile Meals?

Mobile Meals is a service provided by Lima Memorial Health System and its Auxiliary. Its purpose is to deliver tasty, well-balanced meals to those who are unable to prepare meals for themselves.  You must live in the city of Lima or one the four surrounding townships (American, Shawnee, Perry or Bath) to be eligible for the service.

Who plans and prepares the meals?

All meals are planned and prepared by the Food and Nutrition Department of Lima Memorial Health System from the regular hospital menus. A diet order (choice of five available diets) is obtained from each subscriber's physician. All food for these diets is prepared with no added salt, fats, or seasonings.

How much do the meals cost?
