treatment and support. PET/CT and a high-energy linear accelerator,
along with a state-of-the-art simulator and 3-D treatment planning,
makes radiation treatments among the most progressive in the
region. Implants for cancer treatment, outpatient chemotherapy,
plus access to cancer research and clinical trials round on the
treatment options.
Going hand in hand with the most advanced treatments are
physicians, oncology trained nurses, radiation therapist and other
professionals ready to offer physical, emotional and spiritual
counseling. Our inpatient registered nurses attend Oncology Nursing
Society's Cancer Chemotherapy course and complete competencies in
chemotherapy administration.
