Cholesterol-lowering medications - fibric acid derivatives

Fibric acid derivatives include:

  • Gemfibrozil (Lopid)
  • Fenofibrate (Lipofen, TriCor, Lofibra, Fenoglide, Antara, Triglide, Lipidil Micro, Lipidil Supra)
  • Fenofibric acid (Fibricor)

There is no evidence that this medication depletes any nutrients.
