Lima Memorial Trauma Services is certified as a Level II trauma center, where teams of trauma specialists provide immediate, lifesaving treatment for critically injured patients.
Certified Level II Trauma Center
As a Level II trauma center, Lima Memorial Trauma Services is staffed 24-hours-a-day by trauma surgeons, specially trained nurses and support staff. When a patient arrives, the team has immediate access to specialists and equipment from throughout the hospital, 24/7. We have access to the Level I trauma center at ProMedica Toledo Hospital at all times. This level of care is why we are certified as a Level II trauma center by the American College of Surgeons.

Trauma Prevention Programs
Lima Memorial Trauma Services is at the forefront of trauma and injury prevention efforts throughout the community. Every year, we offer adult and child bicycle and helmet safety fairs, water safety programs, children’s health fairs, and educational programs about fall prevention, distracted driving, motorcycle and ATV safety, and sports-related injuries.
