Located on the Lima Memorial main campus, our speech therapy services provide speech and language evaluations and therapy guided by speech-language pathologists and other licensed professionals.
Adult Speech-Language Therapy
- Modified barium swallow tests to examine swallowing problems
- Oral motor / feeding and dysphagia program to help with swallowing difficulties
- Aphasia program to treat patients for language disorders due to brain damage or strokes
- Cognitive evaluation and therapy to improve function in different areas of the brain
- Voice therapy exercises and techniques to improve pitch, loudness or voice quality when speaking
- Therapy for stuttering or other problems with speaking fluently
- Apraxia therapy to help patients with motor disorders learn to speak normally and socially
- Dysarthria therapy to improve the speech of people who cannot coordinate mouth movements
Pediatric Speech-Language Therapy
- Evaluation and individualized treatment for specific disorders
- Articulation and speech-sound disorders assessment and treatment
- Language evaluation and treatment to gain understanding and use of language
- Feeding assessment and treatment with sequential oral sensory (S.O.S) training for feeding
- Assistive communication assessment, including trialing different devices
