Inpatient Hemodialysis
Inpatient hemodialysis is provided to patients who are admitted to Lima Memorial Health System and who have experienced acute kidney injury or end-stage renal disease. Care is provided right in the Lima Memorial Renal Dialysis Center, which is staffed by a team of highly experienced nurses, patient care technicians, social workers and renal dieticians. With advanced equipment and innovative dialysis technologies, the Lima Memorial Renal Dialysis Center team is ready to provide patients with only the best in renal dialysis care and support.
Critical Care Nephrology
Our nephrology specialists provide advanced kidney care for patients in Lima Memorial’s Intensive Care and Heart and Vascular Units. They closely collaborate with cardiovascular medicine, pulmonary medicine, surgery and other specialties providing critical care in an ICU setting in order to provide uninterrupted kidney support when needed.
Patients receiving care with Lima Memorial Renal Services will also have access to:
- Expertise and care from the only board-certified nephrology physician group in the region
- Provisional care and treatment plans for patients experiencing early kidney failure
- Dialysis services for chronic kidney disease
- Training for eligible peritoneal dialysis patients for home care
