Advanced Lung Cancer Technology Assists in Diagnosing and Staging Patient's Lung Cancer

During a routine gym visit, Becky found that she couldn't catch her breath. She thought for sure the feeling would pass, but by that Thursday, she was gasping for air.
An x-ray taken showed that Becky had a spot on her lung. The spot was biopsied and confirmed as stage one lung cancer—a very treatable stage.
"It was stage one, praise God," Becky expresses. "I had surgery to remove it, and now I'm cancer-free."
Becky is immensely grateful for the advanced lung cancer technology donated by the Lima Memorial Foundation's donor community, which helped diagnose and stage her lung cancer.
"The advances that have been made in medicine have been absolutely overwhelming," shares Becky. "The medical world is still fighting on and always pushing forward for a new weapon. And I've been lucky. I've been really lucky."
