Dr. Jeremy Heffner Surpasses 2000th Robotic Surgery Milestone

The Lima Memorial Surgical Services team recently surpassed 5000 robotic surgery cases, with Dr. Jeremy Heffner, board-certified General Surgeon with Midwest Surgical Specialists, surpassing his 2000th robotic case.
Dr. Heffner began performing robotic surgeries at Lima Memorial in 2013. With Dr. Heffner as one of the most skilled da Vinci® general surgeons in the United States, Lima Memorial Health System was exclusively selected to serve as a designated site for the da Vinci® Robotic Mentor Program in 2016. Now, surgeons and administrators throughout the country come to Lima Memorial to observe Dr. Heffner; understand how he utilizes da Vinci® technology to treat patients; study his specific techniques and learn how to produce similar clinical outcomes that have resulted in an exceptionally higher standard of care for the Lima community.
