Hope Garden Celebration to Honor Breast Cancer Survivors

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lima Memorial Health System will hold its 23rd annual Hope Garden Celebration on Thursday, October 17. Breast cancer survivors, family and friends are invited to gather at the Lima Memorial Medical Park on Eastown Road at noon for this celebration of life and survivorship.
Event highlights will include BINGO, fellowship among fellow survivors, prayer and reflection.Light refreshments will also be available.
“Our Hope Garden Celebration signifies a restoration of courage, faith and hope to everyone who has been touched by breast cancer,” said Dr. Darlene Weyer, Medical Director of Lima Memorial’s Women’s Health Center. “Throughout all phases of the breast cancer journey, it is important to maintain a positive attitude. This event serves as a celebration of life for survivors, their family and friends and a remembrance to those who have gone on before us.”
