On Tuesday, August 27, Lima Memorial Auxiliary Volunteers and associates will deliver several boxes packed with essential school supplies to the Children’s Developmental Center (CDC). These generous contributions are the result of this year’s annual supply drive, spearheaded by the Lima Memorial Auxiliary.
This yearly initiative allows Lima Memorial associates to provide classroom supplies that play a vital role in the development of children who need them the most. Lima Memorial associates are eager to support the local CDC by ensuring that cleaning supplies, snacks and educational materials are donated.
Located within Lima Memorial Health System, the Children’s Developmental Center of Lima serves children from birth to school age who have developmental disabilities. This school-based program takes a holistic approach to care, offering developmental classes alongside physical, occupational and speech therapies to support children as they grow.
