Continuing a 125-Year Legacy of Great Care
On Thursday, September 26, Friends of the Lima Memorial Foundation will unite for A Journey In Time at the Allen County Fairgrounds. During this highly anticipated Journey, guests will enjoy gourmet food, networking and silent and live auctions, all while stepping back in time to witness how community leaders founded Lima's first hospital. Guests will explore Lima Memorial’s history, learn about key healthcare advancements and see the impact of the community and Foundation’s support. The evening’s highlight will be a fund-a-need paddle raise, supporting Lima Memorial in addressing urgent health needs, seizing new opportunities and continuing its 125-year legacy of exceptional care.
“From the beginning, the generosity of our donors has been instrumental in providing compassionate, quality care right here in our community,” shared Mike Swick, President & CEO of Lima Memorial Health System. “As we look toward the future together, we will continue to evolve, expand our services and remain at the forefront of health care with their support. For this, we are extremely grateful.”
In honor of Lima Memorial’s 125th anniversary year, the Lima Memorial Foundation Board of Directors committed to raising $1.25 million to ensure our community has access to the best health care technology and services for the next 125 years and beyond. 100% of all gifts made to the Lima Memorial Foundation stays within the community in support of healthcare programs, services and advanced technology.
“I’ve witnessed our community come together in the past to generously support the Lima Memorial Foundation, and this year will be no different,” shared Dr. Mehran Arabpour, Lima Memorial Medical Staff President, Cardiologist and Chest Pain Center Medical Director. “Our community has the power to make an impact and ensure that we continue our legacy of providing Great Care to our families, friends and neighbors for years to come.”
