The Lima Memorial Health System family has come together in true Great Care spirit to adopt 84 local senior citizens in hopes of brightening their holiday season.
“Each year it’s truly amazing to see our associates’ dedication to fulfilling the needs of these Senior Angels,” shared Jessica Eutsler, Volunteer & Gift Shop Coordinator at LMHS. “By partnering with the Area Agency on Aging 3, we are able to make holiday wishes come true for seniors in our community who need it most.”
For more than 15 years, Lima Memorial has partnered with the Area Agency on Aging 3 to host a Senior Angel Tree. This partnership allows Lima Memorial to extend its Great Care further into the community and to seniors who live on limited means and are often without family support. For many local seniors, their holiday wish list consists of gifts that meet daily needs. These items include hygiene products, cleaning products, pet treats, gift cards for groceries and more.
Hundreds of gifts will be loaded into vehicles on Tuesday, December 12, at 11 a.m. by members of the Lima Memorial Leadership team at the entrance of Lima Memorial’s Welcome Center.
