Lima Memorial Health System to Honor Volunteers at Recognition & Awards Celebration

Lima Memorial Health System will honor its Volunteers at its Volunteer Recognition & Awards Celebration Friday, April 21, at the Senior Citizens Services Center—western style! The social hour begins at 1 p.m. with the awards presentation beginning at approximately 2:30 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to wear their western attire for the special occasion.
More than 70 awards will be presented to 57 volunteers beginning at 250 hours of service. One volunteer will be recognized for achieving 23,000 hours of service, and another volunteer will be recognized for achieving the outstanding milestone of 24,500 hours of service. A special award will include the 2023 Rookie of the Year Award.
National Volunteer Appreciation Week provides us a special opportunity to honor volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to the health system throughout the year. Lima Memorial is proud of its volunteers and their dedication to serving in many different areas of the hospital and health system.
