Lima Memorial Health System Welcome Center Opens!

Beginning Monday, August 29, Lima Memorial Health System will officially welcome patients and visitors through its new Welcome Center. The 7,000-square-foot Welcome Center conveniently connects to the Outpatient Diagnostic & Imaging Center, as well as the Emergency Center for easy patient and visitor navigation. Additionally, it provides an enhanced patient and visitor experience with a multi-lane drive and large, protective canopy, a Biggby Coffee and an expanded and modernized gift shop.
The Welcome Center opening marks the completion of a $30 million project that began in 2019. This significant investment in the health of the greater Lima region provides convenient access to top-quality health care well into the future. The expansion project also included the new 20,000-square-foot Outpatient Diagnostic and Imaging Center, a 16,000-square-foot cardiac area, a newly transformed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and the new Lima Memorial Health System Medical Center at Wapakoneta.

Patients and visitors now can access Lima Memorial’s health care services through the Lima Memorial Health System Welcome Center. Patients and visitors can enter the Welcome Center through the West Entrance location of the hospital off of Shawnee Street.
