Lima Memorial’s Milestones in Motion 5K Takes Off on June 29!

Lima Memorial’s Milestones in Motion 5K Run & Walk will kick off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, at the Lima Memorial Main Campus! This family-friendly event will celebrate Lima Memorial’s 125 years of Great Care while encouraging a community of health and well-being.
“This event perfectly represents the many milestones we have reached on our 125-year journey,” shares Sam Schroeder, LMHS Lab Director and 5K Host. “We are excited to celebrate with our Lima Memorial Family and community to promote health and citizenship during this historic year.”
All proceeds from the Milestones in Motion 5K Run & Walk will directly benefit the Lima Memorial Foundation Samaritan Fund. This fund helps fill critical gaps patients may face at the end of their hospital stay that are barriers to recovery. These gaps can include access to needed medications, transportation and clothing.
“The Samaritan Fund is crucial to ensuring all of our patients have what they need to fully recover after their hospital stay,” shares Christa Bauer, Case Management Director and avid supporter of the Lima Memorial Foundation Samaritan Fund. “The 5K is truly a unique way to make a positive impact on our community.”
