Lima Memorial to Host Topping Out Ceremony

On Friday, July 23, 2021, Lima Memorial Health System will host a “topping out” ceremony to celebrate placing one of the last steel beams in the structure of its new Welcome Center. Lima Memorial associates were invited to sign the steel beam, making them forever part of this significant moment in advancing Great Care.
The 7,000 square-foot Welcome Center will enhance the patient and visitor experience and support Lima Memorial’s mission to bring top-quality health care to the community. The Welcome Center will reflect the warm and welcoming environment at the heart of Lima Memorial’s care with an easily accessible multi-lane drive and large protective canopy, a full-service café and an expanded and modernized gift shop. Added to this, the new space will conveniently connect to the Outpatient Diagnostic & Imaging Center as well as the Emergency Center for easy patient and visitor navigation.

Construction is expected to be complete this winter. During construction, patients and visitors are being directed to enter the health system through the Patient Services Building facing Dewey Avenue.
