Lima Relay For Life

Lima held it's 22nd annual Relay For Life the same week of National Cancer Survivor Day, its all part of "Giving Cancer the Boot".
Presented by Lima Memorial Health System, the cowboy themed relay was packed full of events. There were many vendors, raffles and games, as well as line dancing. 22 teams walked along side over 120 cancer survivors with Lima West Middle Schools drum line leading the way. Boesel said the relay in Lima over the past 22 years has raised over a million dollars.
Many people in the community are effected by cancer. Organizers say whether it is a loved one, a friend, or yourself, Allen County won't let you fight alone.
