LMHS Pharmacy Residency Program Achieves Reaccreditation Through 2028

Lima Memorial Health System is pleased to announce that its Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program has been reaccredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) through 2028. This significant achievement highlights Lima Memorial’s unwavering commitment to excellence in pharmacy education and supporting the future of Great Care in our community.
Following a comprehensive survey, the ASHP Commission on Credentialing meticulously reviewed Lima Memorial’s PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program. The Commission's decision, based on their thorough evaluation, has affirmed the high standards of the program. The ASHP Board of Directors reviewed and accepted the Commission’s actions, officially granting Lima Memorial reaccreditation for the next four years.
"We are incredibly proud of this reaccreditation and our program as a whole," said Emily Ritchie, PGY1 Residency Program Director. “This achievement truly highlights our team’s hard work and success in offering our pharmacy residents a well-rounded post-graduate experience.”
