LMHS Wapakoneta Medical Center Earns ACR Gold Seal for Mammography

Lima Memorial Health System is pleased to announce that the LMHS Wapakoneta Medical Center has been awarded the ACR gold seal of accreditation in mammography. This three-year accreditation is the result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology® (ACR®) and represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety.
The ACR gold seal is a mark of excellence awarded to facilities that meet rigorous standards set by the ACR. This prestigious recognition follows a thorough review by board-certified physicians and medical physicists. They evaluate image quality, staff qualifications, equipment and quality control measures. Results, detailed in a comprehensive report, help facilities continuously improve their practice.

Access to mammography services expanded to the LMHS Wapakoneta Medical Center in 2021, thanks to community support of the Lima Memorial Foundation.
