Having resided in Delphos, Ohio for only a year and a half, former Alaska residents, Dennis and Sarah Reger, (Sarah originally from Louisiana), were unsure where to go when Dennis began experiencing chest discomfort and breathlessness. It was a quick search on Google Maps that led them to the Lima Memorial Emergency Center, and they are thankful they were led to such Great Care.
"They were so quick, yet personable," says Sarah, recalling the moments when the LMHS team took charge to provide swift care and attention for Dennis's heart-attack symptoms and also attend to Sarah's concerns. "I felt very important, very heard and very seen."
According to Dennis, if he would have sought care in Alaska, it would have been about 150 miles to the nearest facility that could have provided the cath procedure he needed, and he is grateful for the speedy care received so close to Delphos.
"The demeanor and team work is impressive," expresses Dennis. "You feel like you will be well taken care of."
We want to thank our Emergency Center team, volunteers, cardiac team, cath lab team and our entire LMHS Family for their incredible work to provide Sarah and Dennis with such personable and impactful care. This is what Great Care looks like!
