Philosophy of Care

In providing care to my patients, I often remind myself of how vulnerable I feel when faced with a loved one who deals with a major illness. Doing so grants me the empathy for my patients, so that I may not only deliver the best medical care, but also offer emotional, psychological and spiritual support. It is my belief that every patient deserves to know the truth about his or her condition, and it is my responsibility to offer the unbiased information so that we can mutually choose the best path regarding their care. In doing so, I must prove myself and gain the patient’s trust so they know I am an advocate in their path to healing.
