In an effort to promote family-centered care, individuals may visit hospitalized patients between the hours 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. A loved one is encouraged to be present during the attending physician’s rounds. Our attending physicians generally round from 8 a.m. – noon.

Important Information for Your Visit

Observe Quiet Hours

Please help our patients heal by observing quiet hours. Quiet hours are to be observed on all inpatient floors from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. - 7 a.m. daily.

Violence Prohibited

Lima Memorial Health System strives to maintain an environment free from violence and intimidation in order to provide care, welfare, safety and security for all patients, visitors and associates. There is zero tolerance for all forms of aggression (physical violence, arguing and disrespectful or crude language). Incidents may result in removal from Lima Memorial facilities and prosecution.

No Smoking / Tobacco Use

Lima Memorial observes a campus-wide tobacco free policy for all patients, visitors and associates. Smoking and tobacco use of any kind is prohibited on all Lima Memorial owned and / or leased locations / premises; all internal and external areas, LMHS owned parking lots; all entrances and exits. The use of electronic cigarettes and other smoking devices is also prohibited. 

Follow Infection Control Procedures

Visitors must follow special infection control procedures for patients in isolation. Please visit the nurses' station before entering an isolation room.
