Local Philanthropy Gets Ovation from Lima Memorial Health System

On Thursday, April 4, the Lima Memorial Foundation was thrilled to host its 2024 Ovation event. This special event, held at the Lima Memorial Medical Park on Eastown Road, honored individuals and businesses who believe in and are committed to advancing the health of our community through philanthropic gifts to the Foundation.

Dr. Thompson, Lima Memorial’s first Vice President of Medical Affairs, was recognized during the evening for his unwavering commitment to Lima Memorial Health System and our community, as well as his enduring legacy as a caring physician, impactful leader, selfless mentor and genuine friend for many in our communities.

Awards presented to individuals during the evening are as follows:

In addition to these very distinguished awards, the Foundation presented the Ambassador of the Year Award to Dr. Mehran Arabpour, who exemplified selfless and enthusiastic volunteerism in support of the Lima Memorial Foundation in 2023 and the Infinity Award to Elizabeth Winget for displaying a boundless commitment to Lima Memorial. Lima Memorial associates who make the SPIRIT or LEADERSHIP pledge for Living the Spirit, an LMHS associate-driven giving campaign, were also recognized for their boundless contributions.
