Lima Memorial Health System to Host EMS Symposium

Lima Memorial Health System will host the annual Fall Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Symposium on Saturday, October 21 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Auxiliary Conference Center for all local emergency medical service providers.
Lima Memorial provides medical direction to 24 of the region's EMS departments and strives to equip them with ongoing education to enhance their knowledge and training. This continuing education event will cover a variety of vital EMS topics.
Symposium speakers and topics will include:
Captain Louis A. Belluomini, EMT-P, PCEMS, Hanco EMS – Combating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as an EMS Provider: How to Utilize a Service Dog
Gayle Chaney, RN, SANE Nurse, Lima Memorial Emergency Center – Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Cases – What Do We Need to Do?
Susan Arthur, BIS, RRT, RPFT, Zoll Representative – Getting Positive Blood Flow Out of Negative Pressure IPR Therapy and the ITD
